To protect cardholders, your bank may request that you are screened using 3D Secure (MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by Visa) and by an independent fraud prevention service. We may contact you for additional security purposes should we deem this necessary. Please note your credit or debit card will be charged in full at the time of order, this also includes the cost of any items which are to follow later. All prices are in UK Pound Sterling and your order total will be in UK Pound Sterling.

The size of pillowcases sizes is stated on the product; however, all products are handmade, and may differ slightly.

While every effort has been made to portray our products accurately, slight variations may occur, and the reproduction of colours is as accurate as photographic and publishing processes will allow. Please note there may be variations in colours dependant on the calibration and settings of individual screens.

Prices are as set out on the website. We reserve the right to alter prices at any time. Although we endeavour to ensure that all pricing information on the Website are accurate, occasionally an error may occur, and goods may be mis-priced. If we discover a pricing error we will, at our discretion, either: contact you and ask you whether you wish to cancel your order or continue with the order at the correct price, or notify you that we have cancelled your order. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.

Please remember that if you have an offer code to redeem you will need to do it at the page where you input your customer information and before you click the continue to shipping method. Unfortunately, once the order is placed, we cannot retrospectively apply an offer. Please refer to the individual details of any offers in regards expiry dates and conditions of use. Unless stated otherwise, only ONE offer can be applied to your order at any one time.

This regulation replaces the Distance Selling Regulations and applies if you buy online or by phone and then wish to cancel your order.  This regulation only applies when you cancel the whole order and not for partial returns your right to cancel an order starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 calendar days from the day you receive it.  If your order consists of multiple Silkz products, the 14 days run from when you receive the last item.  This 14-day period is the time you must decide whether to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to get the goods back to our offices.  Your order must be returned in full including paperwork and packaging.

A deduction can be made if the value of the goods has been reduced because of you handling the products more than was necessary

Refunding the cost of the original delivery: (If your UK order included a delivery charge).
Silkz will refund the basic delivery cost of getting the goods to you in the first place, if applicable.  Therefore, if you selected did not spend above £45 and had to pay for the delivery, then you will be refunded with £4.99 which is the cost of Standard UK Delivery.

If you purchase products as part of an offer and return part of the order, the refund will be calculated based on the full price of purchasing the individual items at the normal standard price.

For items in stock and ordered before 14:30 we deliver the next working day guaranteed. After this time the product/s will be delivered the day after next. This service is free for orders above £45 and £4.99 for all orders under this value. This service is for UK mainland only (excluding a Saturday, Sunday, and Bank Holiday delivery.)

If the item is out of stock, we will inform you of any delay.

When we refer to ‘Free Delivery’, it is to UK addresses. If the delivery is to a non-UK address, then the free delivery offer is not applicable, and a surcharge will be applied in accordance to the location.

About the Google Analytics Cookies

Google Analytics sets first party cookies via a piece of JavaScript code which must be added to every page that site owners want to track. It sets four cookies automatically, and a fifth via opt-in (this relates to sharing information about your traffic with Google).

Globally and in the European Union member states Google sets the following cookies:

__utma Cookie
A persistent cookie – remains on a computer, unless it expires or the cookie cache is cleared. It tracks visitors. Metrics associated with the Google __utma cookie include: first visit (unique visit), last visit (returning visit). This also includes Days and Visits to purchase calculations which afford ecommerce websites with data intelligence around purchasing sales funnels.

__utmb Cookie & __utmc Cookie
These cookies work in tandem to calculate visit length. Google __utmb cookie demarks the exact arrival time, then Google __utmc registers the precise exit time of the user.

Because __utmb counts entrance visits, it is a session cookie, and expires at the end of the session, e.g. when the user leaves the page. A timestamp of 30 minutes must pass before Google cookie __utmc expires. Given__utmc cannot tell if a browser or website session ends. Therefore, if no new page view is recorded in 30 minutes the cookie is expired.

This is a standard ‘grace period’ in web analytics. Ominture and WebTrends among many others follow the same procedure.

__utmz Cookie
Cookie __utmz monitors the HTTP Referrer and notes where a visitor arrived from, with the referrer siloed into type (Search engine (organic or cpc), direct, social and unaccounted). From the HTTP Referrer the __utmz Cookie also registers, what keyword generated the visit plus geolocation data.

This cookie lasts six months. In tracking terms this Cookie is perhaps the most important as it will tell you about your traffic and help with conversion information such as what source / medium / keyword to attribute for a Goal Conversion.

__utmv Cookie
Google __utmv Cookie lasts “forever”. It is a persistant cookie. It is used for segmentation, data experimentation and the __utmv works hand in hand with the __utmz cookie to improve cookie targeting capabilities.
